A Grateful Salute to the Birdie Ancestors Golf Group
Dear Ancestors,
It is with immense gratitude and joy that I extend my heartfelt appreciation to each one of you for your unwavering support to the EXCO throughout the past year.
The journey we undertook together in June 2023 was not without its challenges, but your commitment and passion for golf have been a constant source of inspiration.
Life's fairways are unpredictable and just like golf, life is unpredictable. Reflecting on the past year, it is important to acknowledge that we might not have met every expectation set before us as EXCO but with your enthusiasm being the driving force behind our collective journey, we made some progress.
From those whose handicaps are showing a downward to those in the “you can’t shame the shameless group”, we have all contributed to making this group the most sought after kitty group.
While the path may not have been easy, let us take a moment to acknowledge the numerous successes that many individuals within our group achieved during the past year – Successes we will celebrate in full this year.
As we turn the page to welcome 2024, let us do so with a spirit of optimism and determination. We may not have achieved perfection in 2023, but it is through the lessons learned on the golf course – resilience, patience, and sportsmanship – that we are better equipped to face the challenges that lie ahead. Our commitment to BAGG must not waver, we will grow and grow together.
Those promises we made on the 30th of June 2023 and later will come to pass. In the light of this the EXCO with the approval of BOT has come up with an annual calendar of events for the year 2024. This Calendar is only a guide as there are many activities and projects that will be coming your way during the course of the year. In the coming days, members of the Exco saddled with specific responsibilities will be reaching out to you, to provide updates and direction.
Once again, thank you for your remarkable support, dedication, and camaraderie throughout 2023. May the coming year bring us all abundant birdies, successful putts, and the joy of shared victories on and off the golf course.
